Privacy Notice

Last updated 7 August 2026

This notice explains how untagd — a sole proprietorship established in the State of Kuwait, trading as "UNTAGD" ("untagd", "we", "us") — collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit untagd.co, create an account, download a free asset or buy a course. untagd is the data controller for that data.

We collect personal data only to deliver the course you bought, run your account, send you a file you asked for, and provide customer support. We do not collect, build or sell marketing lists on behalf of third parties, we do not carry out lead generation as a service, and we do not use your data to train or operate any artificial intelligence system.

1. What we collect and why

  • Account data — email address and login credentials, so we can create your account and give you access to what you bought. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
  • Purchase data — which courses you own, order references and the email used at checkout, so we can grant access and provide support. Legal basis: contract.
  • Free asset / lead data — the email address you give us to receive a free download, so we can send you that file. Legal basis: consent.
  • Project data — briefs, references, uploaded files, company name and contact details for commissioned work. Legal basis: contract.
  • Support and contact messages — what you send us, so we can reply. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Technical and usage data — IP address, device and browser information, and basic usage or video playback events, for security, fraud prevention and improving the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Payment card details are never collected or stored by untagd. They go directly to our payment providers.

2. Who we share it with

  • Merchant of Record — Paddle processes our sales, subscriptions, payments, invoicing and tax compliance, and receives the data needed to do so.
  • Payment gateway — our Kuwait payment provider, for orders placed through that option.
  • Service providers — hosting and database infrastructure, video hosting and delivery, and email delivery, all acting on our instructions.
  • Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where necessary.
  • Authorities — where we are required to by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the EU and the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

4. How long we keep it

Account and purchase records are kept for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting obligations. Lead emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Support messages are kept for up to two years. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent at any time (including by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send). If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. We aim to respond within one month.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@untagd.co.

6. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, row-level database permissions and signed, expiring links for private files and videos. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. Our payment providers set their own cookies during checkout to process the transaction and prevent fraud. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site — such as signing in and checking out — will stop working.

8. Contact

Questions about this notice or your data: email hello@untagd.co.
